Early Oval, Thin Brass Trade pendant.  Hatch marks around the perimeter with a flower design in the center.  2 small punched holes on either side of the oval.Has number 505 on the back.  This historic piece is from the well known Richard K. ITEM BM-42: Pipe Tomahawk 

A unique pipe with over half of the wooden handle wrapped in copper sheet strip and file branding on the unwrapped sections of the handle.  The pipe has a cast head with file work, clean out plug and gasket carved mouthpiece.  A nice historic piece with heavy wear from an old New York collection.
